Virtual Town Hall on COVID-19 & Minnesota’s Black Community

The African American Leadership Forum (AALF), Insight NewsNorthPoint Health & Wellness, Minnesota Community Care, The Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder, and Children’s Minnesota have partnered to create a virtual town hall series that considers the impacts of COVID-19 on Minnesota’s African American community. The town hall takes place via Zoom and is live-streamed to our official Facebook page.

A conversation in which panelists consider the potential outcomes of COVID-19 vaccines and how this may affect the African American community in Minnesota. In addition, as our community continues to address systemic racism in the aftermath of George Floyd’s murder, panelists discuss how the corporate world has responded to protests and public safety in the Black community.
